Join us for a confidence-boosting event this autumn!
Looking to build your public speaking skills and connect with others on campus? This public speaking workshop is the perfect opportunity! Over lunch, you’ll get to meet fellow early-career professionals, practice speaking in a relaxed setting, and pick up tips to help you shine in front of any audience.
Topics include:
- how to overcome nerves
- discovering your purpose
- the five questions to plan any speech
- how to deliver with impact.

Trainer bio
Ilona Alcock is co-founder of Elevate and has hosted a wide range of events, including conferences, panel discussions and award ceremonies. She used to be a very nervous public speaker and has developed her skills and confidence through JCI UK, a not-for-profit leadership organisation.
